Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a leading foreign policy think tank with global operations, is seeking an energetic individual with excellent interpersonal skills to work with its Washington, D.C.-based Communications team. The intern may work up to approximately 30 hours per week for the duration of the internship. Transportation costs will be paid.

The intern will help support the entire Communications department, including publications, public affairs, and web communications. With a focus on researching Carnegie�s key media and non-media stakeholders and producing web audio content, the position will also work on publications displays, provide day-of event assistance, assist with executing social media strategies, and help with special outreach projects as they arise.

Ideal candidate should be organized, with strong attention to detail; possess excellent computer skills and be able to work independently and complete projects quickly without sacrificing quality and accuracy. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
