Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a leading think tank specializing in international affairs, is seeking an intern to work part-time on Sada, our weekly e-zine on reform movements in the Arab world. Duties will include reviewing daily newspapers and news monitoring websites for Arab countries and proposing short summaries about the most recent developments; development and maintenance of social media network channels (Twitter, FB, Tumblr) in two languages, with translation (English/Arabic) as needed; proofing and fact-checking articles as needed; and improving archives. Native or near-native fluency in Arabic is essential.
Position will start in mid to late May and is located in Dupont Circle in Washington, DC.
