| Description: | Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the world�s premier global think tank, is seeking a junior graphic designer to join the Communications team. This position will assist the Design and Marketing Manager in all aspects of the design and marketing process, including cover and interior layouts for Carnegie books, reports, and other publications, as well as in the development of institutional collateral, branding for special projects, and mailings.
Candidates should have one year of design experience or have recently graduated with a degree in graphic design. Candidates must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 5 for both Mac and PC, and should have a solid understanding of printing processes. Based in Washington DC, the position will work closely with colleagues in Beirut, Brussels, Moscow, and Beijing. Excellent attention to detail and outstanding interpersonal skills are essential. Ideal candidates should have a demonstrated interest in international relations.
