Description:Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the world�s premier global think tank, is seeking a dynamic Deputy Director of Communications to help manage its Communications team in Washington, DC and implement the broad range of Carnegie�s communications strategies. Ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented communications professional with a proven track record in communications and strong writing skills who can work with the Director of Communications and the Vice President of Communications and Strategy on all outreach activities, including media and government relations, content, online communications, social media, design, events, and marketing. The position works closely with Carnegie�s policy experts and serves as a point person for coordinating with communications staff in Carnegie�s offices around the world to ensure coordinated campaigns and consistent global standards.

Minimum five years of experience in communications, media relations, or public affairs required. In-depth understanding of, and interest in, foreign policy essential. Outstanding writing and editing abilities. Seeking an energetic personality with strong interpersonal skills who will thrive in a team environment.
