| Description: | Carnegie Europe, the Brussels-based center for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, is seeking a full-time Junior Programme Fellow (Database and Operations Intern) for a three to six-month period.
Responsibilities include maintaining the Carnegie Europe database and entering new data; performing targeted database research; managing paper and e-records associated with the database; and generating lists, running mail merges, and collating and dispatching standard letters. The intern will also provide overall support to the Carnegie Europe operations team.
The position requires good keyboard skills; an understanding of database use and how data is entered, stored, coded and retrieved; experience in Microsoft Access, Word and Excel; ability to work independently and as part of a team; fluency in English and proficiency in French or any other EU language; and a university degree or equivalent. Previous experience in maintaining databases is a plus.
