Description:Communications Intern (Unpaid) � 4 Days per Week

Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a leading foreign policy think tank with global operations, is seeking an energetic individual with excellent interpersonal skills to work with its Washington, D.C.-based Communications team. Intern will work approximately 4 days per week. Qualified students may earn academic credit for a semester-long internship beginning in September. Transportation costs will be paid.

The intern will support the entire Communications department, including publications, public affairs, and web communications. With a focus on researching Carnegie�s key media and non-media stakeholders and producing web video content, the position will also work on publications displays and provide day-of event assistance, as well as fulfill publications orders, take inventory, and help with special outreach projects as they arise.

Ideal candidate should be organized, with strong attention to detail; possess excellent computer skills and be able to work independently and complete projects quickly without sacrificing quality and accuracy. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
