| Description: | Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the world�s premier global think tank, is seeking a dynamic Events Manager to join its communications team in Washington, DC. This position will create an events strategy for each of the Carnegie programs (format, timing, target audiences, etc.), working closely with Carnegie experts to develop dynamic and creative events which will maximize our impact on policy. Position will also be responsible for evaluating and developing new systems for tracking RSVPs and attendees; overseeing publicity, invitations, and vendor coordination prior to the event; and managing day-of logistics and execution of events, working with our conference center team.
Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with a proven track record in managing events and maximizing their success. Requires 3-5 years� experience in events planning, communications, or public affairs. Interest in foreign policy required. Strong writing and editing skills needed. Energetic personality with outstanding interpersonal skills who will thrive in a team environment.
