The Carnegie Moscow Center, an integral part of the growing global network of regional centers of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, is seeking a full-time program manager to work with one of its programs: Energy and Climate. Position will participate in developing the program�s objectives by proactively building and managing relations with Russia�s energy efficiency and climate policy community; facilitate exchange between Russian and foreign experts; organize periodic events; draft proposals, letters and reports in support of program activities; and facilitate as well as assist with the research activities of the program. The position will be based at the Carnegie Moscow Center and report to the Director of the Carnegie Moscow Center and will coordinate activities with the Energy and Climate Program and Russia and Eurasia Program in Washington DC.
The successful candidate will have five years of post-educational work experience and fluency in both Russian and English. Ph.D. helpful. Candidate should also be self-motivated, organized, interested in energy efficiency and climate issues, and have proven ability to communicate effectively with energy and climate policy communities in Russia. Salary will depend on experience.
