Unpaid � 15-20 Hours per Week
Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a leading foreign policy think tank, seeks an intern to work 15-20 hours per week in the Development (Fundraising) Department for the duration of the spring 2011 academic semester. Qualified students may earn academic credit. Transportation costs will be paid.
Intern will conduct research, responding in a timely manner to short-term, time sensitive requests as well as broader, long-term research assignments. Research will be focused on new funding prospects, current donors (foundation, corporate, individual), and specific Carnegie program areas. In addition, the intern will organize and input grant information into a database, as well as monitor and report on funding opportunities.
Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, have experience working in Word, Excel, and database software (Raiser�s Edge preferred), and possess initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks.
